I am a consultant Orthopaedic spinal surgeon working at the Northern General Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. I am also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. I am registered with the General Medical Council, Number 5198848 (Full with License to practice) and am on the Specialist Register. I have adequate medical indemnity.
After my medical degree I completed a Masters degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics from the Indian National Board of Examinations obtaining the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) and a Post graduate Diploma in Hospital administration. I have completed my Fellowship in General Surgery (FRCS) from Edinburgh, Masters Degree in Trauma Surgery (M.Med.Sci.) from the University of Birmingham and the Trauma and Orthopaedic Intercollegiate Fellowship exams (FRCS T&O). I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. My Advanced training in Spinal Surgery was at Leeds where I did the 1 year National Spine Fellowship. This was a combined Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Spine fellowship. I have obtained a Certificate of Completion of training (CCT) from the Post graduate Medical education and Training Board (PMETB).
I have a wife and two lovely daughters. I enjoy playing badminton with my kids and friends. I have a golden retriever that loves going on walks.
