Lee Breakwell trained in Sheffield and Birmingham before fellowships in St Louis, San Diego and Nottingham.  He is a Consultant adult and paediatric spinal specialist.

Lee was a medical student in Sheffield qualifying in 1994.  He worked in Sheffield until 1999 when he began his Orthopaedic training in the West Midlands working at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.  
He specialised in Spinal surgery before completing three fellowships in spinal deformity and reconstruction in St Louis and San Diego in the USA, followed by the British Orthopaedic Association National Fellowship in Nottingham.

Lee Breakwell has a full time Spinal practice in the National Health Service and is interested in Training.  
He is currently Director of Postgraduate Medical Education at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Lee undertakes all forms of Spinal surgery including the treatment of degenerative conditions, scoliosis, tumours, trauma and infections.

He enjoys teaching and regularly participate in International educational programmes.
